The English–Malay Clinical Trial
Translation Specialist
Accurate, audit-ready translation of clinical trial documents — English into Malay (Malaysia & Singapore), and Malay into English — for international CROs and pharmaceutical companies.
What I do
End-to-end English–Malay (Bahasa Melayu) translation and proofreading of clinical trial and pharmaceutical documents, with accuracy, consistency, and regulatory standards as non-negotiables.
Forward translation, back translation, and reconciliation for Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) instruments and clinical outcome assessments — following established linguistic validation methodology.
Clinical trial import licenses, GCP inspection reports, MREC submissions, and other regulatory documents requiring precision and familiarity with Malaysian regulatory frameworks.

Proficient in SDL Trados, Smartcat, and Wordbee. Maintains a proprietary English–Malay clinical trial translation memory and termbase. Adaptable to client-owned translation management systems and platform requirements.
Why it matters
“Clinical trial documents require more than linguistic fluency — they require clinical comprehension.”
A mistranslation in an Informed Consent Form is not just an error; it is a patient safety risk.
I bring something most translators cannot: a clinical foundation built over years of practice. I hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Master of Clinical Pharmacy. I have worked as a practising pharmacist and spent over a decade teaching pharmacy at university level. I understand what I am translating — the pharmacology, the clinical context, the regulatory intent — not just the words.
This is what audit-ready translation looks like.
